We are Master the Moment Adventures and are excited to help you with your travel. The following terms & conditions (the “Agreement”) describe what you can expect from us. The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Master the Moment Adventures and all its affiliates and the terms “client”, “traveler”, “you” refers to the individual who signs this agreement.
I have read, understood, and accept the following:
Documentation:
Travel documentation appropriate for entry to your itinerary destinations, such as passports, visas, and inoculation certificates, remains each traveler’s responsibility. It is each traveler’s responsibility to make certain that they have proper immunizations before travel – please see your health provider for advice. Master the Moment Adventures will advise required documentation, but travelers who do not meet advised requirements will be denied boarding. Valid passports are required for all international destinations. If a passport is required to travel, the expiration date must be at least six (6) months following the return date of the planned travel. The passport must be in good condition, untampered, and undamaged. Each foreign country holds different views of past criminal offenses – if you have a current or past offense, please contact that country directly for entry and exit requirements. Travelers with DWI or DUI records should check whether current rules exclude admission to foreign destinations. Master the Moment Adventures feels it is an invasion of privacy for members of our staff to make such an inquiry, and these requirements remain the traveler’s responsibility. Pricing:
Price quotes are applicable to the date and time at which they are requested. Quotes in foreign currency are subject to fluctuations in exchange rates and international credit card issuer fees. Master the Moment Adventures is not responsible for any increases due to lack of traveler response, fuel surcharges, government-imposed taxes/fees or supplier-imposed increases.
Research & Design Compensation:
Fees are collected to cover the time involved in consultation, research, curating, pricing a customized-to-you trip and to ensure that Master the Moment Adventures, an affiliate of Travel Planners International, is paid for their time whether or not you finalize your booking with us. All Research & Design fees are non-refundable and must be collected prior to any quotes being delivered and covers up to three (3) quotes. Additional quotes incur a $50 per quote charge prior to quote.
Research & Design Compensation fees start as follows:
- $150 per professional review of client planned itinerary
- $500 per Mexico or Caribbean All-Inclusive or river cruise package reservation up to 2 passengers, ocean or river cruise package inclusive of air up to 2 passengers
- $500 per Custom Itinerary Planning:
- Itinerary Planning ONLY Includes:
- Discovery Travel Consultation call
- Customized detailed digital proposal (if necessary)
- Up to three (3) revisions
- If your itinerary is booked with Master the Moment Adventures, you’ll receive additional included services as follows:
- Access to exclusive industry rates and travel professional servicing ONLY suppliers
- Complete trip management (payments, requests, confirmations & reminders)
- Itinerary app
- Travel documents loaded into the app that can be accessed even if you are offline
- Tips, tricks, city guides, restaurant, and activity recommendations
- Support via email and scheduled calls during business hours prior to travel and calls, texting, or messaging via app(s); after business hours 7 days prior to departure, and 24/7 during travel
- Reply within 48 business hours prior to and after travel.
- Restaurant recommendations catered to your likes and destination
- Concierge services like restaurant reservations and spa appointments
- Emergency contact numbers
- Itinerary Planning ONLY Includes:
- Revisions:
- If you would like to change any details of your booking after it has been confirmed, more than 30 days prior to travel, we will do our best to accommodate and any revisions after deposit may incur a $50 per revision fee.
- Within 30 days of travel there is a revision fee of $100 for each individual reservation.
- Once in destination, any ‘In-Country’ change requests will be subject to a revision fee of $100 for each individual reservation that is altered. Please note that Master the Moment Adventures cannot guarantee that such alterations will be possible.
- Client is responsible for any and all costs associated with any changes.
Regular Business Hours:
Regular business hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Communication:
All non-emergency communication is completed during regular business hours via email (preferred), electronic text messaging, and/or scheduled telephone call.
All emergency communication is completed via telephone call and must meet the following criteria:
- Involve a cancellable injury, illness or death of traveller(s) or immediate family
- Be within 7 days of departure or during travel booked with Master the Moment Adventures
- All emails must have **EMERGENCY – MTMA ** as the subject line.
- All electronic messaging sent must be followed up with a phone call.
- All voice mail messages must be followed up with an email or electronic message.
Cancellation:
All cancellations must be made in writing via email to Leanne@MasterTheMomentAdventures.com. Any form of messaging other than email are not accepted form of cancellation. The penalty timeline is based on the time we receive your request in writing. Cancellation office hours are Monday – Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Payment Policy:
No accommodation or other service will be booked until payment of any fees and deposits, or full payment as required by the supplier of travel services (airline, accommodation, cruise line, etc) is received. Once client approved, all payments will be automatically paid per the payment deadlines listed in the invoice(s) associated with any travel plans. Failure to complete payment on time will result in the cancellation of associated travel services. If any portion of the proposed is unavailable at time of booking, Master the Moment Adventures will make comparable alternative arrangements. All itineraries are subject to availability.
Confirmation of Services:
Master the Moment Adventures will confirm all modes of travel and key services once deposit is received. Other services will be confirmed after final payment is received. Confirmations are processed during office hours Monday – Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Any client proposal and/or invoices received after 3:30 PM Monday through Wednesday will be processed the next applicable business day. Approvals received after 3:30 PM on Thursday may be processed on the following Monday. Prices and availability may change between receipt of approval and actual confirmation. Client will be notified of changes and approval must be made prior to confirmation.
Check in & Departure Responsibilities:
It is strongly recommended that you check in a minimum of 3 hours prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and 3 hours prior to scheduled departure for international flights.* It is the traveler’s responsibility to reconfirm flight times at least 24-72 hours prior to scheduled flights. Master the Moment Adventures will not assume responsibility for any air or schedule changes. Certain countries require departure taxes that require payment in cash. *Recommended check in times are subject to change without notification. It is the traveler’s responsibility to remain abreast of changes in condition or airport rules that might require earlier arrival times. This
information can be found when entering your confirmation number on the airline website or mobile app.
Travel Protection/Insurance:
Travel protection and/or insurance is strongly recommended and automatically included in every trip to protect your investment. Unless specifically noted, travel insurance is not omitted in the cost of client’s itinerary. Information for travel insurance will be sent to you within a reasonable time frame after deposit based on trip cost and components. Cancel for Any Reason Protection must be included prior to the initial payment of any monies.
Master the Moment Adventures is not the source or supplier of the travel services requested and acts as an advisor of travel itineraries for the client and/or booking agent for disclosed principal supplier cruise lines, hotels, airlines, ground transportation and other companies providing accommodations, transportations, and/or other travel related services. Each of these suppliers is an independent entity with its own management and is not subject to the control of Master the Moment Adventures. Master the Moment Adventures and any of it’s affiliates shall not be liable for any accident, injury, property damage or personal loss to client or to those traveling with client in connection with any travel services we have recommended and/or booked, including but not limited to acts of God, weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of governments or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, acts of terrorism, breakdown in equipment, supplier/vendor cessation of operation or bankruptcy, theft, delay, fuel increases or cancellation or change in intermarry or schedules.
I acknowledge and accept that there are cancellation policies, change fees and penalties that apply to my travel plans and services as set by travel suppliers and/or Master the Moment Adventures. If for any reason my credit card charges are later declined, reversed or Master the Moment Adventures is unable to receive payment for the travel plans and services, I acknowledge that this is a binding contract and Master the Moment Adventures will be entitled to recovery, including reasonable attorneys’ fees in connection with collection. All legal action will take place in the state Florida in the United States of America.
By paying the Research & Design fee or deposit, I have read and accept the Master the Moment Adventures Terms & Conditions on behalf of myself and anyone in my party and confirm I have the authority to do so for anyone in my party.
I authorize Master the Moment Adventures to charge the credit card or bank account indicated on this invoice for the noted amount on today’s date. This payment is for the services described on the invoice and by authorizing the payment, I agree with and accept the suppliers chosen to provide travel related services and agree to the terms and conditions of said travel related services providers and suppliers. I certify the names and dates of birth match exactly the passports of the travelers indicated on this invoice and said passports are valid, undamaged, and do not expire before 6 months AFTER the return date. I understand that returns, refunds, and cancellations are at the discretion of the suppliers of travel and/or Master the Moment Adventures.
I further understand that I cannot legally process a chargeback on this transaction. If I go forward with a Chargeback as a means of getting my refund, Master the Moment Adventures reserves the right to pursue criminal charges against me. All legal action will take place in the state Florida, the United States of America. I certify that I am an authorized user of any credit card I use to pay for travel planned and/or arranged by Master the Moment Adventures and that I will not dispute the payment with my credit card company.
